End users have a variety of options with the replayer.

Poker Hand Replayer Overview

The overview screen is a one-stop source for the current top 5 most popular and the top 5 best histories, as well as the 10 most recent histories. Users can also view site messages or other news items shown by Administrators here.

Viewing Hand Histories

Different tabs allow different views at available histories. They are:

  • Browse: Show all histories for a given limit, or show all histories in the system. Histories are limited by the visibility privileges for a user (public, private, and member only).
  • By Game: Shows all histories for a given game type (PLO, NLHE, LHE, etc).
  • Best: Only those histories with a rating are shown, and are ordered by highest rating.
  • Popular: Histories are ordered by the number of times the history has been viewed.
  • Most Recent: Histories are ordered by the time they were uploaded.

Users

This tab shows the top 30 users in the system, defined as a combination of the number of times the user has logged in and the number of uploads the user has (uploads have more weight).

Members Only

Members have access to more functions than a standard user. They are:

  • Upload: Only members can upload new histories.
  • Mine: Shows the histories uploaded by the user.
  • Profile: The user can change their standard preferences, email, password, and other information here.

Permissions

Administrators have the ability to change a user’s permissions, which can be used to grant or deny access to certain features. The different permission access types are as follows:

  • Normal: The user has access to the normal functions described above.
  • Developer: Normal permissions, plus can edit site news.
  • Tutor: Normal permissions, plus can manage advice (add, edit, or delete) in any history.
  • Moderator: Tutor permissions, plus can manage any history (edit or delete)
  • Administrator: Moderator permissions, plus can edit site news and manage users (edit permissions or delete)

Administration

In addition to all of the above, Administrators have a number of options for managing users and histories including:

  • Delete users
  • Manage user permissions
  • View/Manage/Delete any history (except private histories)
  • Manage comments for any history (Full version)
  • Manage advice for any history (Full version)
  • Manage news (Full version)
